Cabo San Lucas — January 2004

There were some Cardon cacti near the beach. The countryside near Cabo had cactus like these about one per every 20 square feet. Zillions of them. They are the world's largest cactus species, with some of the big ones meauring 70' in height and weighing up to 25 tons. They look a lot like Saguaro cactus (and are often mistaken for them).
